Jeddah-based designer and London School of Fashion graduate Nasiba Hafiz launched her contemporary collection in 2011 with the aim of dressing the eccentric cool girl. Her spring 2016 collection offered ruffled off-the-shoulder flouncy tops and dresses, leather separates (a material infused into her designs for the first time) in plaid and polka dot prints, and a patchwork ensemble. While there’s nothing groundbreaking regarding the silhouettes, her collection has strong commercial appeal with options for the jet-setting girl who’s looking to curate music festival ready outfits. We give her credit for solidifying her brand’s DNA, the next step is to cement her shapes and sharpen her outlines.
